Then and Now

It seems like it's been a life time
Since we've been together
The two of us could have created dreams
That would last forever
I remember all the good times we sought
As I remember all the bad times when we fought
I loved you then, I love you still
My love for you no one else can fulfill
You love and strength I desire
As for the kisses you gave
As we sat next to a fire
You held me in a caring way
As if you knew our lives
Were going their seperate ways
I won't let go cause you're the one for me I know
Everyday without you by my side
Teaches me to take life in stride
The love you had for me seems to have perished
But the memories I'll always cherish
