It all began when I turned 21,
A time to party and have some fun,
We went to the club and partied all night,
Didn't take long til I was feeling allright,
There seemed to be no end in sight,
Before I knew it the night was over and it was
time to go, I had been drinking and was too
drunk to drive, but that didn't matter, I felt so alive,
I got behind the wheel and started to drive,
little did I know I wouldn't get far,
because just like that I hit another car,
a man, his wife, and daughter too, all I could see was her little shoe,
the police showed up and the paramedics too, but it was too late,
there was nothing they could do, now i'm doing 25 to life
for KILLING that man, daughter, and wife, now I look back,
what the hell was I thinking, I should have never been driving after I had been drinking!!!!
